by Likha Cuevas-Miel, InterAksyon.com  Petron Corporation is offering to sell back to the government its oil refinery complex in Bataan as a gesture of support for the Aquino administration’s efforts to “counter the adverse effects of high oil prices” in the country.In a letter to the Department of Energy, the Philippines’ largest oil refiner said it is “open” to the idea of government reinvesting in the company so it can have “effective participation” in the industry.  |
