by Ryan Chua and RG Cruz, ABS-CBN News After 6 hearings, the Senate Blue Ribbon Committee has recommended the filing of graft charges against former First Gentleman Mike Arroyo and police officials who allegedly conspired with each other to sell second-hand helicopters to the Philippine National Police (PNP) and pass them off as brand new.Aside from Arroyo, former Interior and Local Government Secretary Ronaldo Puno and former PNP Chief Jesus Verzosa were accused of violating the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act for the sale and purchase of 2 used Robinson R44 Raven I helicopters worth more than P62 million in 2009. |
