Castillo, Philippine Daily Inquirer  In a game between two powerhouse offensive squads that took a defensive turn, Petron Blaze shut down B-Meg when it had to for a 73-69 victory Wednesday night in the PBAPhilippine Cup eliminations at the Cuneta Astrodome.Baskets came hard for both squads, until Alex Cabagnot cut loose in the final 3:20 by scoring seven of the Boosters’ final nine points, including the go-ahead triple that eventually ushered Petron to a share of the early lead with Rain or Shine and Powerade.  |
