PAL LAWYER 'CONGRATULATES' SC OVER 'CORRECTION', AS FASAP PROTESTS 'DENIAL OF DUE PROCESS'

The lawyer for Philippine Airlines says the Supreme Court should be “congratulated” for owning up to a "mistake", even as the Flight Attendants' and Stewards' Association of thePhilippines (FASAP) on Monday asked the High Tribunal to once again revert to the "valid, final and executory judgment" the court had revoked to the surprise of stakeholders and legal observers.

PAL lawyer Estelito Mendoza, in an exclusive interview with News5 on Sunday, said: "You must congratulate the Supreme Court when it sees that there is a mistake, it corrects it. The worst thing is when there’s a mistake and you cover it up."
