NAIA TERMINAL 1 SALE TO EARN $2.5 BILLION FOR GOVT – ROXAS

naiaTHE end apparently justifies the means, at least in the view of Manuel Roxas 2nd. Roxas, the secretary of the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC), on Wednesday said in a statement that the department plans to sell the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 in Parañaque City (Metro Manila) and proceeds would be used to fund the development of Clark International Airport in Pampanga province, north of Manila.

Privatization of the NAIA 1, according to him, would raise the revenue of the government by up to $2.5 billion.
