By Jaime Sinapit, InterAksyon.com Officials said Sunday the number of affected residents in the heavily flooded areas in Central Luzon has climbed to more than 2.4 million and more than half of them are severely affected.National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) Executive Director Benito Ramos said some towns, particularly in Bulacan and Pampanga, have already declared a state of calamity and others are expected to declare the same in the next few hours. |
