CORONA DEFENDS RECALL ON PAL CASE

Chief Justice Renato Corona yesterday challenged critics to make a comprehensive study of the case involving the retrenchment of thousands of employees of Philippine Airlines (PAL) before making any judgment.

“Before you attack the Supreme Court, you should study the case first. Some people say so many things against the court even if they don’t obviously understand the case,” Corona told reporters at the sidelines of the 37th Philippine Business Conference and Expo at theManila Hotel yesterday.
