Salaverria, Philippine Daily Inquirer  The camp of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo on Thursday accused Commission on Elections (Comelec) Chairman Sixto Brillantes of bias and said he should resign his post.Inocencio Ferrer, a lawyer of Arroyo’s husband Jose Miguel Arroyo, said Brillantes’ remarks to reporters on Wednesday about the former first couple’s purported involvement in poll fraud showed his “bias, prejudgment and clear conflict of interest” as the lawyer of Arroyo’s opponent in the 2004 presidential election.  |
