PAMPANGA'S WORST FLOOD IN DECADES

by Jojo Malig, abs-cbnNEWS.com Floods in Pampanga caused by typhoons Pedring and Quiel are the province's worst in decades, Governor Lilia Pineda said on Monday. She told radio dzMM's "Dos Por Dos" that some elderly people even see the current floods as the worst in 80 years. Pineda said the depth of floods in some areas is between  8 to to 10 feet. She said hardest-hit areas are 6 towns along the Pampanga river. Pineda also claimed that 2 coastal towns, Macabebe and Masantol, are already below sea level.
